Emmanuel Frimpong has been told by Arsenal that he has no future at his boyhood club amid news that Martin Jol is keen to take the midfielder on a permanent basis when his loan spell at Fulham ends at the end of the season.
Frimpong has endured two serious cruciate knee ligament injuries in the past 3 years and, despite a promising first Premier League start against Liverpool at the start of last season, has never threatened to break into Arsene Wenger's side.
The Ghanian's contract expires in the summer meaning that he'd be available on a free transfer, and Fulham boss Jol has expressed an interest in making the youngster a permanent member of his squad:
"If there was an opportunity to take him, I would probably do it."
